With the match play events in the latter stages and both the Club Championship (Rd 1 scores attached) and Presidents Cup now off and running we’re definitely getting down to the nitty gritty when it comes to trophies being handed out. We’ve also got the Fereneze Open this Saturday where the Russell Cup and Jay Little Trophy are up for grabs.
We also have our first confirmed finalists for Finals Day where Bernie Wood will play Billy Moffat in the Neilson Cup.
Junior Sixes
Our sixes squad played their 2nd match yesterday at East Kilbride Golf Club and got much better conditions than they had at Fereneze a few weeks back. 3 new players, Harris Gallacher, brothers Lewis and Cameron Rennie joined “veterans” Peter Hailes, Aidyn Bitters and Finlay Aird this time round. One game to go at Kirkhill Golf Club.
And Finally…..
The Macaulay boys are ready to go at Pinehurst with a few practice rounds on the agenda and a Parent/Child event too. Not the worst parents to have in your team eh?
