🏌️ 2026 Fixture List & Updates
I’m pleased to share next year’s fixture list with you comfortably before the year is out. In the past, it may have been after New Year before this was shared, but I’m aware that some people like to know these to help plan their year, golfing or otherwise. As ever, we reserve the right to tweak these as we see fit depending on events.
Thank you to everyone who completed the survey—your feedback has helped shape a few changes for the coming season. Participation is up (20% since 2023 and 8% on 2024), so we’re sticking with the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach while making subtle improvements.
✅ What’s Staying the Same?
📅 Fixtures and Dates
Pretty much unchanged from last year. Team events and medals remain in their usual slots:
- 9 team events (excluding Hugh Ross)
- Additional event for new members and occasional competitors
- Gents Senior Team Open
- James Adair Trophy (played twice)
🎯 Opens
Same dates and pricing as previous years. We continue to pay out a higher percentage of entry fees than many neighbouring clubs.
🏆 Club Championship & Finals Day
Four qualifiers remain, giving more chances for those away on holiday. Finals Day will again be the second Saturday in August.
✨ What’s New?
🔐 Match Play Qualifiers
- First 2 strokeplay events count for Victory Shield
- Senior Championship & Presidents Cup now use best 2 of 4 aggregate scores
- Qualifiers spread across May–June (SCC and Presidents) May-July for CC.
🌍 Meeting Series
New multi-round series using Spring, Summer & Autumn Meetings. Lowest aggregate wins (gross & nett).
📊 FerEx
Introducing a Gross FerEx leaderboard (details TBC).
🏌️♂️ Tuesday Medals – Stableford Element
Each Tuesday Medal now includes a Stableford event with its own Order of Merit and prizes (TBC). Visitors blocked after 3pm; evening slots limited to 3 balls for speed of play.

🎨 What Else is New?
Events now look more professional on Golf Genius Hub with thumbnails for quick identification (Team/Singles/FerEx/Tuesday Medal). Event Hub pages and Portals include improved imagery and banners.

Junior Committee will publish their fixture list soon. This page will be updated with all other fixtures including team matches and other events.
