Our Fleming Watson Team got their hands on the main prize and a few others at the annual presentation of prizes at Haggs Castle golf club on Sunday 19th January. This is our 13th victory overall in the competition since it’s inception in 1963 and a 5th title in the last 6, making us the most successful club in the league, 2 titles ahead of Sunday’s hosts Haggs Castle.
As well as the Fleming Watson League trophy the team also won:
- President’s Cup
- President’s Award for outstanding achievement
- Lowest Gross – Millennium Trophy
It’s also a fitting send off from the juniors to Captain Tommy Kelly who’s lead the junior section superbly well over the last few years. His replacement is still actively being sought if you fancy trying to fill his shoes.
