We’re about 60% committed for the 100 Club so around 40 short of where we need to be. If you were in last year and want to participate again please send £60 to 80-05-54 00270689 or you can pay via card using the link below.
You can pay in instalments too..we have half a dozen members who pay monthly via Standing Order.
As a reminder this fund is used as both a member lottery and to make some enhancements. Funds this year will be directed towards a new outside seating area.
Thank you to those that have paid their fees. Those members currently in arrears have had their BRS access removed and have until Saturday 28th February to make payment or their memberships will be revoked.
We have 2 new membership categories and a 3rd on the way….Click on the links below to learn more and please share with any friends or family you feel could benefit from either.

As you’re aware we’ve been running with the Golf Scran trial for a few weeks now and I’m delighted to say that it’s been a big hit with the members that have used it so far and both Chefs Corner and the bar staff are finding it to their liking too.
Based on the trial run we’ve had we’re now delighted to let all members make use of this great service option to have your food and drink ready for you when you want it, that could be coming off the course, making your way to the course or even sitting in the house and you fancy one of Romesh’s pizzas!
Just a reminder, this isn’t linked to your bar & kitchen account so you’ll pay independently of that. The drink prices are discounted but not to the 20% mark you receive on your B&K card. If that’s important to you feel free to order only food and order your drink when you get to the clubhouse as you normally would do.
This is the first step in some exciting work we’re doing with Add Jam on making the member experience the best it can be. There will be QR codes popping up around the place that you can scan to order or just save this link to your phone as a bookmark and you’ll always have it.
We’ve recently seen an increase in members booking tee times and not turning up. This has a real impact on others who may be looking to play but assume the course is fully booked when, in reality, spaces would have been available.
We kindly ask all members to cancel any tee times they no longer need, even at short notice, so availability is accurate and fair for everyone.
We’re delighted to share a new opportunity for members looking to improve their strength, mobility, and overall golf performance.
Long‑standing member Martin Lynagh has recently qualified as a Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer, and since last year has been delivering a range of successful fitness classes. He is now launching GolfCon — a circuit‑based class designed specifically for golfers.
GolfCon focuses on:
- Building core strength
- Improving flexibility
- Developing movement patterns that support a more efficient, consistent golf swing
Class Times (starting Thursday 5th March): - 9.45am
- 6.00pm
Classes are free for current gym members and available on a pay‑as‑you‑go basis for others.
Spaces are limited and interest is already strong, so early booking is recommended.
For more information or to register interest, please contact Martin directly by email martin.lynagh@sky.com.
P.S. Personal Training enquiries are also welcome.
As part of the five-year business plan to get Fereneze Golf Club recognised as one of the best golf clubs in the area, Captain Clark Hill and the committee would like to embark on some improvements to the fabric of the clubhouse and surrounding areas. Whilst some improvements will require contracts to be placed with local suppliers, there are many other areas of maintenance and improvements that can be made utilising the skills of our membership. This approach, we believe, will help maintain fiscal controls in these challenging economic times, whilst improving the aesthetics of the clubhouse and surrounding areas.
Some of the areas we are looking for support are gardening, weeding and tidying of access paths and car park, and odd jobs to improve internal condition of clubhouse.
If you feel you can spare some time to volunteer your services then please contact David Miller via email or complete the form below to register interest. We will then contact the volunteers to meet and allocate tasks as appropriate.
We hope that you can help make this initiative a success.
